Default Crank Main Bearing size

I'm rebuilding my ka24e in my 92 truck. The engine I'm using came out of a 95 model. I need a good source to buy correct bearing size for my 95 block. I've heard that these blocks have very specific bearing size dimensions. I'm just interested in knowing if regular standard size bearings from the parts store will work.

I don't see any marks on the crack, but I do see #2 markings on the machine surface where the oil pan bolts on to. How do I go about buying these bearings?

i havent read the FSM but why is it any different than anyting else? get a set of standard, over or under, plastigage, return the useless ones, get the right over/under's.

old school engines didnt really have the tight tolerances as the newer engines.. trying to get brgs for a newer Nissan engine..not fun, the FSM does mention using plastigage but I really didnt read it..

Always check the main and rod bearing clearances! Been that way a long time. A variety of Plastigage strips must be in any rebuilder's tool chest(s).
