Well I absolutely LOVE your last posted pic of your truck!

Really shows the character lines, squareness and angles of the D21.

I wished they kept the “mail slots” on the ‘97 D21 hood. Love that look! My ‘89 KC had ‘em and I really like that feature.

Not much on Hector this weekend. Bled clutch, tightened alternator and belt AGAIN, and did a temporary fix on washer pump with some percussive maintenance. Discovered I've GOT to unload bed or will be getting and installing a set of rear leaf springs.

Today? Not a damn thing on either Nissan!

It's grill day and working on a couple Honda mowers that came in... I gotta labor, on Labor Day. Makes sense, right?

Probably at least as bad as a Jeep so worse than a cow.

Well if it makes you feel any better I had to work Saturday and yesterday because I am an idiot and signed up for OT during a holiday week. At least the check will be fat when it comes in. I was supposed to finish chopping up a couple of large trees we had taken down earlier this year but it's too damn hot out.

Yep, I see that, especially on Ebay. They won't pull the complete unit and sell it as a kit, they probably figure it's a lot more work and would cost too much to ship anyway. I've been looking for several months and I'm at the point my engine will be put back together without a supercharger.

It would've been nice to have the extra power but I'm hoping the 3.3 JDM will be faster than the 3.0 I'm replacing.

But I don't get a check... I do it because I like to. Everyone will see/sees retirement differently.

I put a hair under 10% of my income to retirement. Should be pretty good when I've got 30-35 years left in my career! Maybe I'll even be able to retire early!

I get two retirement checks. And I don't do any work on the side for nothing unless it is where I hang my hat. Not even for family. Everyone pays. Some just get better rates than others.

When you do retire, the hardest thing to get used to is waking up and having basically nothing to do. I mean no work calling your name except maybe work around your own place. Most folks who are NOT retired yet think that would be great. Ha...until about the third week of retirement and you STILL aren't doing anything except watching The Price is Right and General Hospital.

Then you start LOOKING for shit to do LOL.
