Busy weekend. Lowered her on 3" blocks after having my tires put on the rims. Swapped the black mirrors and door handles for chrome. Installed my tach cluster. Yesterday I swapped the spark plugs for NGK Iridium. Lastly, I swapped all bulbs to LED including the tail lights and blinkers.

I find the factory dash lights too bright for me at night.

Filled the fluids, set the timing and leak checked the truck. All was good, so I took it on a 60 mile round trip and all was well. Hope it's the last time I have to remove the front cover.

i ended up popping a tire tonight, Hankook i pike, expensive tire. I want to just by one to replace it, the voice in my head that now has a wrench from me being a mechanic is screaming, telling me to buy 2.

The new u-joints arrived today. They fit. It was a little bit challenging to find these, the 86-89 u joints are still widely available but the 90-94 ones (Rockford driveline part #430-12) aren't in stock anywhere. I ended up buying a pair of u joints for a 90-96 300zx non-turbo since they use the same u-joints according to the compatibility listings.

I'm hoping they will almost drop into place after spending some time in the freezer. The old u-joints are a pain to get out, I may try cutting the next one instead of pressing it. I may also do a writeup on these if anyone's interested.
