The aftermarket front windshield trim can be seen in the 5th pic. I do not remember what thread that discussion was in or who wanted the pic, but there ya go.

Hard to believe my 88 SE 4x4 is cleaner than yours. Too bad I can't get a title for mine tho, my interior looks like the truck had 50k miles and not the 200k that are no the clock. Other than the faded paint on mine and a rust blemish right over the left small quarter glass, my truck is museum condition.
Congrats on your ride man, I'm glad you can enjoy yours

I bought it on CL from a true slime ball crook. He said he go that pathfinder along with a few other cars in a settlement and he couldn't find the title so I low balled him 600 dollars for that pathfinder. My plan was to pull the 5 speed and put in my 93 se 4x4 auto, well I couldn't bring myself to tearing up a perfectly good truck that was 5 times better than my already clean but sun beat 93.

Check the state laws on bonded titles. In Tennessee, it is possible to basically “buy” a title. There is a little paperwork required. The VIN has to be checked for a stolen report. Then an affidavit has to be signed stating you legally acquired the vehicle. There is a little more to it, but it can be done here.

We can actually pay a fee to get the last registered owners information.

Replaced both left side ball joints. The lower one was gone. It was flopping around like an overcooked noodle. When I took the outer tie rod off, the damn stud stripped. Gonna get a new inner and outer one tomorrow, then maybe do the right side. I should have ordered tie rods when I got the ball joints. Now I get to pay double the price by going to the parts store.

Went ahead and changed the entire left tie rod assembly with a new adjustment sleeve. I will order the right side and change them later. I fucking hate ordering parts locally. I spent over 200 bucks today on the tie rod adjustment sleeve, the inner and outer tie rods, a real set of c clip pliers and the damn alignment. All because the old outer tie rod stripped. It needed to be replaced anyways. The alignment paper is below.

And man the alignment tech got his ass whipped adjusting the right side lol he had to use half a can of pb blaster and probably a torch. And oh man it drives so different now.

Yeah, I like the shotgun approach on the front end. Get it all from rockauto and take care of everything at once.

The OE alternator took a dive off a cliff monday night. I noticed the fan blower speed was dropping when stopped. As the RPMs rose before shifting, the fan got faster. I looked at the volt meter and saw 16+ volts. Dead voltage regulator. I swiped the one off my truck for now. Gonna order one next week.
