Default I dont understand.....

why some people have issues with parallel parking? if you are one of those people, sorry, But it is a source of amusement for me, I watched a person in a Tesla try to park in a hole that I could have put both my trucks into! lol

anyone have any tales to tell? or "I dont understand" input?
lol

Putting the phone down would help everyone drive better.

Aren't those things supposed to be able to park themselves?

I can relate, though. I grew up and learned to drive where parallel parking isn't really a thing. I can do it but can't claim to be any good at it.

I also think it's worth mentioning that most newer cars have rather poor visibility. I guess that's why they have cameras and blind spot monitoring systems.

I grew up driving trucks so I just drive over stuff. Much easier to parallel park when you just drive over the curb and sidewalk.

IMHO, all the Blindspot crap is just making things worse. Now people rely on that crap instead of their eyes.

If you are really interested in talking to that young lady walking down the street, don't sit there in your car blocking the road. Get out and go over to her.

To be fair, modern cars have pretty big blind spots that can make it tricky. Easy to park my Nissan and her Jeep but it’s a slower process when I end up dealing with rentals. Even parking the company work vans is easier than some newer consumer cars.
