Default 500hp ka24e-t brainstorming and problem-solving

Hello all it is I, one of the many who have recently fallen in love with the single jingle Ka. The undesirable, replaced, scrapped, and disregarded four-popper.
I wish to adventure into the world of boost. I have a 96í hardbody that has is stock block, but paired with a Nismo R4 cam. Iím running an apexi neo as well with my own custom 2.5Ē exhaust. My goals are a reliable 450whp and maybe 500 max.

Firstly- Internals. I know that enjuku racing carries a bottom end kit for the dual overhead cams, my question is that are the rods, pistons, and bearings compatible with the single cam? Is there anyone out there who has tried from personal experience to see if they work??

Secondly- Knowing that Iíll be aiming lofty for horsepower, does anyone care to tell me what size injectors I should be looking for? Also I know a safc isnít a way to effectively tune, so I plan on running megasquirt and a bigger fuel pump.

Third- TimingÖ I hear under boost that we need to take away timing, but how much? Can I do so by rotating the distributor or do I need to buy a msd box? Why? How??

Finally- I have myself a ported and polished 240sx sohc head to pair with the build. Can I run my current nismo R4 cam under boost? I DO want to run the truck manifold for torque reasons as well, but does anyone know if I can achieve such numbers without a plenum?

Thanks again guys!! Iím 19 years old, working full time to fund such an endeavor- but Iím determined and stubborn. Is this possible and what are my oversights? Thanks bros!!

bro, i got to the point where i removed the head and reseated all the valves. im beginning to think that i am just chasing ghosts and that its some anomaly in the cylinder head. that or some wiring issue that has been plaguing me. nonetheless- when i pull the motor out of my HB, i plan on inspecting the stripped truck by the bolt, wire by wire lol! maybe it has something to do with a faulty lifter? at this point- i have a built 240sx head that needs a built block to go along with her! maybe that will solve my issue
