Little Big Red D21 Build

Hi everybody, my name is Jon and I just bought a 1994 Nissan hardbody 2WD XE regular cab truck. Before I start I would like to tell you a little story.

I have been a Nissan owner since my very first vehicle back in 1995. I bought a 1994 Nissan hardbody truck. It was black and I loved it. Fresh out of high school, I found myself in that truck all day every day. I loved it so much that I even upgraded in 1997 to a new exact same truck. Same color, same wheel base, same options, same everything,. That was the start of my Nissan for life journey. Since then I have owned two Altima‘s, one Pathfinder, two maximas, and two frontiers. I always love that little truck. My daily driver is a 2017 Nissan Maxima Platinum. More about that later.

Fast forward to March 2018. After cruising the Internet for the last six months to find a decent hardbody to buy as a project, I finally came across Little Big Red. I really wanted one in black, but I could not pass this up. Paid $1900 for it it was a single owner with 190,000 miles. It had been sitting in this old man’s garage since 2015. The resurrection of Little Big Red has begun. I hope everyone enjoys my posts, I am a newbie when it comes to cars, never really did much from a mod standpoint. I am interested to learn from everybody here, I see a lot of knowledge on this site. I can’t wait but please bear with me as I am not smart like you.

Here is how Little Big Red looked when I bought her... I wasted no time and stripped out the interior and washed the whole thing inside. Trashed the carpet, took the dash apart cleaned and painted a few pieces...

last 2 weeks:
I scraped all of the glass with a razor.
Pressure washed the seat.
Bought and installed new carpet
new seat belts
new radio
new speakers
front and rear cameras
iphone wireless charger
2 additional 12v sockets
had my guy bore out some Titans
new rubber 235/45-18

Phase 2 complete. Next up:

new windshield
2" blocks in the back (if I can find some u bolts) ***DONE!!!***
window tint
chrome removal (not sure if paint or dip) or maybe all new lights
dome light fix
new visors
new steering column cover (on the way already) ***DONE!!!***
shift knob maybe ***DONE!!!***
4x6 in the rear (already on the way) ***DONE!!!***
new door and window handles (already on the way) ***DONE!!!***
new arm rest handles (already on the way) ***DONE!!!***

OK IN nation. Looking for some ideas. I have done a lot in the last 2 weeks since LBR has arrived. On to the outside now that the interior is just about done. Here is where you come in. I was thinking about a full chrome delete on the truck, but unsure if I should trade chrome for all black or what? Mirrors, grill, windshield trim, handles, bumpers, etc...

Thoughts? I am stumped here.
