I used belltech spindles. Spindles are easier to install than control arms. You have to first remove the spindles before you can replace the control arms. When I took it to get aligned with control arms, they couldn’t do it at a regular tire store. That may have just been the mechanic that was doing the alignment but he did a piss poor job. I had to get a guy that is an old school hot rod guy to align it for me. Your results may vary in this aspect of it.
Also, if you ever plan to do airbags in the future you will need spindles to lay out the front. You also do not want to try to bag it with DJM control arms. They aren’t flat like factory arms and it make it a pain in the ass to set the bottom bag plates.

oh alright yeah i got you. that makes sense. thanks for the input, much appreciated. i may just get spindles in that case, and go down with the torsion bars a little as well. i doubt i’ll ever do bags, i’m not trying to get too crazy with it.

i don’t think it’s that. i was thinking the gear box may be worn out or an idler arm. i really don’t know shit about these trucks lol, and it’s just been colder than hell here and snowing a lot to even get a chance to dick with it. i’m trying to get the shitbox photobucket site to work so i can post a pic of this truck that’s got the exactl look i’m going for. give me some time lol.
