Default Gas tank

Hey guys my gas tank is pretty crummy. Theres pin holes in it and the lines coming out of the tank and fuel pump are shot. My filler hose assembly is pretty rusty too. Is there any other tanks, from other vehicles, (pathfinder or something) that will bolt in? I live in Canada and finding another used assembly isn't easy. The cost of a new tank shipped it going to run me 400$ and I would still need to buy new parts for it to.

I’m seeing $336cad with shipping to Hamilton on rock auto.
To be honest for effort and time for a new one don’t think you’ll beat that.

Ever look at those cross border shipping agency/pickup at border agency? Could get cheaper shipping /not pay the GST… but seems like a lot of hassle to probably not save much.

The Frontier and Xterra tanks should be shaped the same, but they stopped using the 15-gallon tank. If you have a Regular Cab truck, the other 21-gallon tank used by some Hardbody trucks and all Frontiers and Xterras will not fit.

What size tank do you have? You never said.

What about Spectra? I think they're even made in Canada, headquartered in Quebec.

I bought one of their tanks off Amazon for my F150 and so far, so good.

Spectra closed their doors. I'm not sure why. I doubt their products were as good as the Japanese Hitachi brands, but they were half the price.

You can still pick up a few Spectra items, but they are limited to old stock on parts shelves.
