Default Vibration on release fork slave cylinder plunger

I have a steady rythmic vibration on the fork the holds the end of plunger coming out of the slave cylinder... also a tapping noise...

Clutch engaged and in neutral.

Rpm increase does not go away.

When in gear it does not go away.

Wondering what damage that can cause

Did you miss a washer or spacer? Any parts left over from the trans rebuild?

Did you install a new, quality clutch disc, pressure plate, and throwout bearing? Any chance that one of the "fingers" on the pressure plate was damaged?

Did you replace the input shaft when you did the trans rebuild?

Clutch fork movement will have to come from the pressure plate and/or throw out bearing.

What if the shaft is not installed correctly? ...or bent?

Bent won't go into the pilot bushing. Nothing will line up. It is suprisingly close tolerance.

I'd suspect installation issues if installed wrong too.
