Default Reese hitch on a lowrider

Has anyone ever tried putting a reese hitch on a slammed 1st gen frontier? I'm lowered 6 inches so I would like to mount one flush with the frame, behind the bumper. TIA for any advice.

You'd have to hack it up to get it there, might as well just have one made from the ground up. Probably cost the same.
