Try 4x4parts: http://www.4x4parts.com/c-1046829-su...-packages.html

Or Calmini: https://www.calmini.com/detail.php?b=1&m=4&t=1&p=589&n=

87KC has got it! Ruggedrocks may have something but the other 2 will likely be better.

I dont know if Id recommend lifting the 2wd. Heck, lifting the 4x4 gets to be work fast with changing CV angles and all.

Rough country has a 2" lift on their website for RWD. In fact I had it installed on my truck when I bought it and just removed it.

Scratch that, the 4wd lift kit will fit on the 2wd

Here is a low dollar 2-inch lift for the rear:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/390185724047

That's what I am using.

Also, make sure your bushings are good. Worn bushings will cause the suspension to sag a full inch or more.

In the front, just turn the torsion bars.

Hello, I have a 97 Nissan hardbody pickup and I'm looking for a inexpensive suspension lift for it it's four wheel drive and I called rough Country and they do not carry one that will fit this 97 they the Nissan dealership told me that my VIN number comes back to a D21U. Whatever that means he said the 95 96 and 97 are all the D21U. And I can't find a lift kit to fit this truck to save my life I've called skyjackers rough Country and a couple other places I live in Belfast Tennessee close to Nashville can anybody help me with this problem?

The lift kit from RC should fit your 97, 4x4. I bought their kit for my 95 4x4 but haven't had the time to install it yet. When I bought the kit, I had a conversation with them regarding the fit and they couldn't tell me why their systems says it won't fit the 95-97.

If you need me to take some measurements of any parts in their kit or need some pictures, I'd be glad to do that.

All the Hardbody's are the same so a kit from an 87 would work fine on a 97.

No idea why they say their kit won't work on the 97. 4x4parts.com shows their control arms working from 86.5 to 97. Only difference in the control arms is between 2 and 4 wd.

Only companies that sell a lift kit for the Nissan D21 (or D21U) is Calmini (customer service and shipping sucks I would avoid them), Rough Country and 4x4parts.com. Rancho used to make akit years ago and Trailmaster used to have a 4" suspension lift that is long discontinued.
