If it was all original and had 9.5k miles sure. Guy's a nutter thinking he'll get that for that truck.

He might get it if he is offering financing. Banks will not finance that, and most people with 11 Grand laying around in the bank have other interests.

People do it all the time unfortunately. It's not uncommon to see a 20 year old truck or SUV at a BHPH lot. I see cars like mine listed for around $3k pretty regularly even though there's no way it's worth that much and if you were to pay cash you could probably get one for close to half that.

Used car lots will. They typically hike up the price so they bank a fat roll.

I had to order a new front cable for my parking brake today. It seems like the cable wore through the plastic shield of the one I have now.

I also need new ball joints again. I just did those in 2010. WTF?

I'm not going with Moog anymore. Too many bad stories about how their quality has gone to shit. What does everyone think of DELPHI? The TC393 looks good:

Three years ago, a Nissan dealership in Renton, WA (Younker's I think) put a 1997 4WD King Cab up for sale. 35,000 original, and they detailed it out to the max. Asked and got $13,500 for that. I tried to get down there from Auburn and get a look at it, but it was sold the next day. And that guy wants 11K for a 93?

I was lucky to get 4800 for the green (okay...teal) truck. Right buyer right moment. And that thing had some serious mods on it. Plus a new set of Cooper Cobra Radial GT white letter tires on American Beauty slotted rims in black. Full LED conversion, the fiberglass Lund sunshade, yada yada.

No way will he get even close to 11,000 bucks.

I feel funny posting on this thread since I no longer own a hardbody. The Xterra is nice. But I sure had fun jamming around the NW in the TT. So what did I do on the Xterra, which could be a hardbody if I cut everything out behind the front door pillar. You can almost see it. It would kinda be like a truck, right?

RIGHT? Okay, maybe not.

Finished installing the seven pin to four pin adapter plug, got rid of my CEL (PO447) by switching out my gas cap and the evap canister solenoid. About a hundred bucks. Installed LED into the headlights and running lights. Will do the off road lights to LED soon. I will do pictures by the weekend. But I may have to post that on the Xterra thread.

I also want to thank all the IN members who offered advice and help to me from time to time on the Teal Terror. If it hadn't been for you guys, I could not have accomplished what I did with the TT, and get a fair price for it at the end.

I say we do one final round of pictures...

(Joke meme about the UFO Skywatch Party I hosted last July.)

(Seat covers and floor mats went in soon afterward.)

I think the post is gone now. They may have bullied him into removing it. Not sure but hey what’s the easiest way to get the shift boot off? Last time I messed with one I didn’t get it off right and tore the carpet. Don’t wanna tear up this one lol

Remove seat & Lift the carpet?

I almost got those after your post: $26.42 each

https://www.holley.com/products/susp...arts/101-10203

While looking around to make sure I was getting the best price, I saw them on Amazon: $26.80 each

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008VQLXYW

One of the 2 reviews there said he got something made in Taiwan. He supplied a picture, but I saw no way to tell if it was Taiwanese or Americanese based on his photo, but I still got a little concerned with what I would receive (either on Amazon or direct from Holley.com).

I felt like it was going to be a gamble, so I gambled with the "$17.67 each" Delphi parts.

Wish me luck!

Yes, you have to remove the carpet. However, you only need to remove the seat if you want to remove the carpet. (sarcasm)
