Yea I paid $98 for the wheels. They are most definitely not real 3 piece haha. Those will come later. I already tapped out the plastic rivets and ordered new ones.

Croooober. Shipping was like 3x the amount the wheels were haha. I think it was like $390 shipped and the wheels were $98 so technically they were pretty expensive. I've decided to just sand them and polish the best I can myself. I have a buddy who has a Mitsubishi truck he wants to put them on so hell pay me back what I paid once I find something else later. Much Later.. when all the issues are fixed.

Mom is visiting all weekend, so its been hard to find time to work on the truck. I did really want to try to work on the wheels to see where we would go with them. After stripping them, I really liked the all chrome look. Was worried about how difficult it would be to remove the corrosion but it turns out it wasn't as bad as I thought. Just takes time. Trick is to not sand to hard to leave deep scratches and go through the grits.

The photos below show the before and after. However the sanding was only 320/600/800 grits. I also plan to go 1000/1500/2000 so it should shine up pretty decent. This will keep me satisfied for a while. I think I will like it quite a bit. I mean, it beats the factory 14's the truck is sitting on now for sure. I also have to do one more round of aircraft remover. The unfinished surface inbetween the spokes is holding on to the paint much better than the smooth surface of the spokes.

Good work.

Are those aluminum wheels? Mother's polish would really clean up some aluminum wheels.

I definitely plan to hit them with some metal polish after the hand sanding!

Still trying to see if anyone knows where this third oil seal goes. The two dirty ones are the only ones that came out of the truck.

Also this o-ring here. It is not the distributor o-ring and I did not pull it off the truck so I have no where it goes.
