Hey im new to this site. I have an 88 2wd hb that runs great. I am currently looking to swap the engine but am unsure of what would be best. I am thinking 350 but this might prove to be too difficult. Any ideas?

Welcome to infamous nissan! You’ll run into a lot of the same issues on most swaps. The SBC swap is one of the more common swaps. The only thing that would probably be any easier would be a small block Ford since the distributor is at the front of the engine.

Probably at least as bad as a Jeep so worse than a cow.

I would go the 302 route just for the distributor location. And the small block ford parts are a dime a dozen.

Welcome to IN.
