Default Front bump stops laying on lower A-arm

When I lowered my 1991 d21 to get the front as low as the back I had to lay it all the way down in the front. I had it on the rack yesterday for new exhaust and saw the front bump stops are always on the lower a-arm. Seems like it'll just beat the shit out of the bushing and wear it out fast. Any suggestions or advice?

Most people cut the bumpstops shorter and shorter until it rides decent.

I recommend running a drill bit through the bumpstop rubber to "swiss-cheese" them, making them softer. You'll still ride on them, or hit them, but it will be a much softer, more progressive, less abrupt bottoming.
