*weekned build project* for no longer stay with my dad
Was hunting for something 4WD to play in the snow and take over to my cabin in Eastern Washington Found a 1995 SE-V6 Pathfinder that claimed it only needed a water pump (sitting since summer of 18) Originally he wanted $700, offered $450 if we drove 2.5 hours to come tow it. Got down there and it wouldn’t start (claimed it would), pulled it out of his yard and got it jump started. Got him down to $200, so what a fookN deal Full sport package to my knowledge, power locks, windows, heated seat?, alarm system (everything but leather) Got it home, added water/coolant Put 40-60 miles on it the night we brought it home. 0 over heating and leaking!! Motor runs smooth and idles very calmly. We put a starter in it from AutoZone the next morning, still no starting. People have been recommending relays. Because it was late we will give that a shot Friday night/Saturday. My plan with this little joy is to make it reliable (I already trust it more than my truck), swap the d21 front end with this (win for both vehicles), new tires in the summer (trying for 31’s), lift kit, fresh paint when we paint my Hardbody

We got it to start! After replacing the relay and starter still no click. My dad traced the wire from the fuse (he called me I wasn’t there) , traces it to the battery and said it wasn’t even connected.my dad tapes it up so it wouldn’t come undone again. So relay and starter were probably good but better to replace @ 265k and the starter had a Nissan logo on it...
Starts right up now! But we are pretty sure this thing had an oil change maybe once every 6 years. After flushing 2 changes it’s srill coming out THICK AND DARK Has a gas leak as well And the radiator is leaking Couple other issues that we will be working on, and I will be posting on here.

I got to see it start for myself last night. Starts funny but.. starts
Today is the old man;s birthday so ill be stopping by again. Vacuumed the hell out of it and now it smells a lot better. Fred Meyer doesnt carry "turtle wax" branded interior cleaner (crap worked wonders on my hardbody) so i used their house brand or whatever. Now my SUV smells like a cat box. displeased with that. It needs exterior door handles, both are broken & the passenger door can only be opened from the inside. if anyone sells them let me know

Thank you for the part numbers!
First year I can legally drink on my dads birthday with him. His girlfriend was buying and he kept ordering for the both of us. When we made it to the house I decided to clean the truck while I sobered up and he was sleeping. These stains have been sitting for years for what I can tell. If it was worth my time I’d replace the carpet but for now making the suv smell fresh is a must. 3 cans and I didn’t have enough for the trunk ![]() Didn’t take before pictures minus what’s above

Need to bring my heat gun from work and some 99% alcohol to remove those ugly ass velcro squares.
Passenger seat on the back side has/had some surface mold that I dowced with cleaner. Going to have to keep my eye on that. Those seats are so much better to ride in than the hardbody seats. Can’t figure out my fog lights in this thing either. They aren’t getting voltage to the connectors but that’s another problem down the road. Got it in the garage windows down, heater buddy in full blast to dry it out over night. I lied about not having intieror pics. They just aren’t great.

My dad has been working on it while he’s had time. The truck has a blown head gasket from previous owner. So we have began stripping. Planning on doing a top half rebuild. Truck was leaking gas and battery is shot (never liked optima)
