On my 1992 the passenger door you can crank the window about 3/4 of the way up & then you have to use your other hand to push the window forward while cranking it to get it closed.
I have already sprayed some wd40 in the tracks to see if that would help and I’m still having the issue. What do I do or how do I adjust it where I can roll it up with one hand again ? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I've sprayed genuine aerosol silicone lubricant in the tracks, better than WD-40 which isn't really a lubricant.

I had that problem when one of the two bolts that holds the glass to the regulator fell out. Pop of the door panel and take a look.

That's the one's. Also make sure that the glue is holding in the clips.

when I had that problem it was the glass run channel being warped towards the top of the window. Cleared up when I installed + lubed a new one. Plus worth doing just for less wind noise and rattling

I had a similar issue. Somebody put a crapload of "anti-seize" in the cable tracks, not the window tracks (backside of the center rail that the window slides up/down on) and the cables got gunked up towards the top. I took out the regulators and cleaned them up. I used WD-40 to clean off the "anti-seize". Never lubed them again and haven't had ANY problems either. Can roll the passenger window up/down with one hand, leaning over from the driver side. My 6yo daughter can roll it down and almost all the way up. There is a little more tension as the windows get closer to the top, but no window rattle.

Hey ya’ll thanks for the replies. It’s weird to me but I replaced the outside window trim and I oddly haven’t had the issue since
