That's where I searched, the best deal maybe an entire vehicle 1.5 hours away for $500 that runs. I searched Ebay and CL as well.

I picked up what I believe to be a the axle we are looking for except one key element. I did not get the LSD option. Long story short, called the junkyard to make sure my 130 miles wouldn't be in vain. He told me they had 6 of them pulled and they haven't moved in weeks so no need to reserve one. Negatory ghost ridder, I had to drive to his other yard 30 more miles in the wrong direction and to wait for them to pull one. This was my only shot or I would have passed on it but it is the narrow axle with 4.10 and disk brakes. My axle was from a 1995 2x4 V6, it's all they had, he said the 4x4's usually had the LSD option.
I want to put a lower ratio than 3.73 in it anyway and think I have to get a new carrier (honestly never dealt with rear gears, but something about a thick vs thin ring gear you have to change the housing I believe). I was able to get the rear part of the Isuzu drive shaft and saved $200 from buying local but the experience I had was terrible.

The axle can handle 500 HP easily. Its when you add larger tires to them when you snap axles.

I got one of these axles and am in the process of redoing my chassis to bolt it in but I've got a question about the lug studs. In the Isuzu axle it has m12x1.5 studs all in good shape. The front of my truck has the standard m12x1.25 studs and several are broken and needing replaced. I know the 1.25 is the thread pitch but since they're both m12 can I just replace the front sturds with 1.5 or are there factors I'm not aware of that will get in the way?
