Default First Gen Frontier and Spindles

Hey guys, I am thinking about getting dropped spindles for my 2000 Frontier, but when I had a Hardbody many years ago, I remember having to have a certain wheel size. I believe it was 16" or larger. Are the Frontiers the same way or will my stock 15's be ok? I plan to get larger wheels, but wanted to lower it first.

Thanks!

I just put spindles on my 98' frontier. I have the stock rims and no problems with fitment.
My buddy did trim down tie rod ends down though. It's the 14" wheels the spindles wont work with. For what it's worth the spindles are the way to go. I had my torsion bar cranked almost all the way down before the spindles and the inside tire wear is almost instant.
