IDK -- But search amazon with

"AC Compressor CLUTCH ASSEMBLY Fits; Nissan Altima 2.5 Liter 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 A/C

Brand: Automotive AC"

to see similar -- I'd check with such parts' manufacturers/distributors next.

Welcome to IN...

Have you checked your local junk yards? That's usually the first place we suggest.

Probably at least as bad as a Jeep so worse than a cow.

A brand-new compressor clutch is practically the same price as a brand-new compressor WITH the clutch. I understand that you feel the AC clutch is defective and want to R&R the clutch but not discharge/recharge the system.

I want to know what you think is wrong. Is the AC clutch bearing making noise when clutch is not engage? Does the AC clutch get voltage but slips or does not engage? What is the ohms resistance across the AC clutch?

If the clutch is slipping, on my 1998 Frontier I removed an AC clutch shim a couple of years ago to fix mine, did this even without removing the belt. See attached file.

My d21 ac compressor died several years back. I kept it after i shelled out over 300 bucks for a new one. Then the clutch on my pathfinder quit working. I am glad i kept the old compressor. I could not find a place that only sold the clutch. So if you do have to change it out, go to a junkyard.

I also have saved my old AC compressors. In fact, for the clutch shim removal fix I detailed earlier for my 1998, I first practiced with the seized compressor from my 2004 Frontier.

Of course, the 2004's compressor went out at 104K miles, and the 1998 compressor is still pumping fine at 258K.....
