Now it's just something I do for fun. As long as they buy the parts I'm good.
Well, I try to keep my "skills" up so I can keep my current fleet alive. Working small engines is my method... and it keeps my yard in really good order. Gotta test the machines you repair... even gives me chances to upgrade my equipment. Good tools make work easier...

Oh, is that 1/2 baked... or fully?

It'll fall again, just a question of when. Some places are cheaper than others. My house was a $200k house when I bought it. My parents just sold a tiny crappy condo at 1100sqft in California for more than twice what I paid for my house. They just sold a similarly sized but much older house in the same city for over 4x what I paid for my house!!! It's insane!
Man... everything is topsy-turvey these day, with society. But don't forget, these are ALL man-made problems. I'm just trying to get thru today... tomorrow, I'll probably do the same thing...

Our house value has doubled also. Don't know if/when it will happen... but I suspect a correction is in order. I lived in Cali and remember that housing prices were stupid, back in the 90's, when compared to any other state. Don't even want to consider anything there any more...

My house went up about 50% in ~3 years which is insane.

I hate that I basically can't plan much further than a couple days anymore because some retard will do something that will shut that down or screw up my plans. I'm so tired of dumbness. Thank God I work at a place where I'm surrounded by really smart people.

Like I said, at the bottom of this post... about "planning": http://www.infamousnissan.com/forum/...ostcount=23395

So I stopped "planning". Living one day at a time now...

A plan and staying on the lookout for opportunities. I think the most important thing in retirement is to make sure you aren't (still) paying an arm and a leg for a place to live. From there, anything is possible.

I may have a buyer for the truck at $4500. He is coming from Seattle. Not going any lower than that and he knows this.

The Teal Terror has been SOLD. A guy came 115 miles from Kennewick, WA and bought it for $4,800. That was the asking price. That makes two out of three of my three goals for the week accomplished. The first was getting that tent trailer cheap. Second was selling the truck and getting pretty much what it was probably worth. Third...I am now looking for an Xterra, or failing that, at least a truck with 4WD and bigger than the TT.

My girlfriend's dad loves those things. He flips them so often I think he has a new one every 6 months. I think he has had at least 12 in the 5 years I've dated her.

If you go with an older one, get the 1500. The smaller motors are a PITA to replace, pull the motor, the stator if it goes out which is more common on the smaller ones. Also the big one has reverse.
