No way in hell I'm driving the truck and it's lack of AC today! Car froze me, had to turn it back up to 75 to get rid of goosebumps. Oddly it's water temp was still 205F with 110F outside, in traffic with the AC on.

The heat continues. Stay cool and hydrated folks!

So, last nites low, here, was 78! Today will be miserable! Frying is a bit of an understatement.

I heard a joke about someone "baking lasagna in the mailbox"... funny, but not so much.

Got another way to beat the heat...

So, sitting at ones desk, @85F! (my current conditions) ...I have a small tub (12"x18"x6"), cold water within. Soaking ones feet lowers your core temp and helps to maintain... Doing so, while sitting at your desk, is quite relieving!

Try it sometime...

I suspect that would be hard for me to do... not quite that bad off, yet!

Oh, and the "putting the hand in warm water, while sleeping" never had any affect on me.

107 here now, today! ....supposed to get to 109.

No AC here... but that's gonna change. The DW and I have already had this conversation.

Currently we rely on "EQ" and mother nature. When the inside temp and the outside temp EQ (become close to each other), we open up and fan up the whole house. In the morning, we fan down and close up...

As a general rule, this works great... unless your low temp (night time) is the normal high temp! This has not worked for 2 days now. Change is in the air... HOT CHANGE!!!

EDIT: we did hit 109F outside today! 88 in the house is hot, but tolerable... barely!

Had to take apart window AC today, fan was obstructed and dirty AF.
Oddly, AC in WD21 works pretty good.....I almost never use it.
