I didn't bother with pics, but I went to an upholstery shop and got some headliner material and used some 3m spray glue.

Thanks buddy so the material will just lay evenly on the board after the spray glue is applied?

i used 3M super 77 spray adhesive.

i bought "scuba suit" (aka fake neoprene) from my local fabric store

with most fabrics you can pull out wrinkles when you stick it to the adhesive, but if it is foam backed like mine was, the foam will rip if you try to remove it. So for me it was get it right the first time or start over...
