Default High mileage Hardbody

You are both correct, Reserector and Deerhurst. My truck was built in Japan, 334th off the line in January 86. Has the original engine which has never been opened. Runs good but leaks big time from rear main. A tough engine!

Probably at least as bad as a Jeep so worse than a cow.

Wow. That is really nice. I have not seen that particular two-tone color combo, the (black, dark blue?) and grey before. You have a real jewel there. If you decide to replace that rear main oil seal, might as well do the clutch while you have the tranny out. You don't say whether it is automatic or shift, though. LOL doesn't matter which except for the clutch question. Nice truck either way. More than nice. Those wheels aren't even scuffed. Holy cow.

Do you see you have the cutouts up front for optional fog or running lights? Might want to consider adding some. If you go with the running lights, wire each side to the two wires on each side for your front side marker lights. That way, when you turn on the headlight switch to parking or main headlights, they will always come on without a separate switch. Fog lights instead? Will need a separate switch. Best way for running lights is to measure the holes carefully and start searching out aftermarket lights at Amazon. They always give you the dimensions of the lights you are thinking about purchasing. On mine, I had to cut out some plastic. Didn't have the SE holes like you do. I will attach a picture. (Ignore the Hella lights. I never should have put them on anyway. Should have stopped with the running lights.)

(Most of the comments on the picture were about when I switched to LEDs except for the headlights.)

Heard a new sound coming from my truck today while driving home and cruising, more like a fast walk, in stop & go traffic. So when I got home. I popped the hood and took a look around the engine bay. Horrified, I found my common length #2 Philip's screwdriver sticking out from the passenger side of the throttle body and the handle stuck between all those small vacuum lines!!! Oh the damage that could have been done while driving full highway speeds after the traffic cleared up some! YIKES!

So what did I do to my D21 today?

SAVE ITS ASS from God knows what damage would've occurred if that tool got down into something spinning at 3.3k rpms!

SiFi, he has the earlier 3 piece bumper where yours is a later bumper. No little cutouts in the early ones. OE fogs for that bumper hang below the bumper.
