AC hose bolts

I am trying to locate the bolts that are used to secure the AC hoses to the AC compressor and condenser. Through research I have identified the Nissan part numbers. Unfortunately these parts have long been discountinued. Below are the part numbers. I assume these are some sort of standard bolt. Does anyone know how to identify the length, thread, and pitch size for these bolts? If I knew that info I could probably find suitable replacements. Thanks for any help.

08110-8351D (compressor side bolt)
08120-8352F (condenser side bolt)

I'd hit the junkyards and pull each one, then hit the local Ace hardware for new ones.

Unfortunately the only D21s in junkyards around me are stripped down and no longer have any of the ac hoses Installed.

Thanks for the link. The site does have the 08110-8351Ds. The cost for 4 with shipping is $15. I might end up paying this but it still won’t help me with the other bolt I need.

The only site I can find 08120-8352F is over seas. The overseas sites wants $3 a bolt and $74 for shipping so $77 total.

I’m sure these bolts aren’t anything special. If I could just find the dimensions I could probably get them from the hardware store. After searching I did find a listing on eBay for 08110-8351D with a description of M8x30. My guess is this is M8-1.25 thread. If so I can get a M8-1.25x30mm bolt pretty cheap at Home Depot.

I just need to find out what the dimensions are for the 08120-8352F. I have searched the web everywhere and called a couple of Nissan Dealerships to see if they could give me the description for the bolt but the description is not in their system. I’m hoping someone on this site knows a way to find out the part description.

Are you on Facebook? There are Hardbody groups out there with owners parting out their trucks. Lots easier to find your parts that way.

I wouldn't post the part numbers, though. Instead, take a picture of the AC unit and ask to buy the whole piece. You don't want some dumbfuck taking your money and sending the wrong part. And never send PayPal as a Friend or Cash App unless you really know them. I've been burned a few times like that.

I regularly use the one that came with my cheap tap and die set.

Then use a micrometer for the diameter, then put a really skinny bolt/stick to determine the length.

Likely is 8mm x 1.25mm thread, VERY common. I'd just like to note that in USA most 8mm x 1.25mm thread bolts use the European 13mm wrench size, where Japanese 8mm x 1.25mm thread uses 12mm wrench size, in case that matters for clearance.


Near me, the Ace Hardware has way more metric stuff than Home Depot/Lowes; and not only do they have some Japanese (called JIS) 12mm-head bolts in the little drawers, they also have allen head bolts with 8mm x 1.25mm thread.

JIS = Japanese Industry Standard, used on many Jap bikes and cars of the 70's and 80's.

They will mess up a standard Phillips head screwdriver, be aware! But, you can make your own JIS, grind the tip off your PH driver...
