Thanks,I'll try that,if it ever stops raining here. I've read that using a resistor to fool the ECM into thinking that conditions are right for running will work. I also read that an older style distributor will fit by changing the adaptor [?] that attaches to the oil pump. Maybe someone who struggled through this problem will chime in.
