I'm not sure what you are asking.

To replace the center bearing, you take the middle u-joint out to get at the nut on the end of the front shaft. I recall using an air chisel to vibrate the old joint off. A clamshell in a shop press is the proper way. Or a clamshell with a puller attachment. It's a light press fit.
