The 96 trans has a electronic speed sensor in it. You will have to find a mechanical speed sensor to adapt it to your 93 truck. It shouldnt be to hard to find that part. It has to be for a 86.5-93 5...

Check your brakes to make sure you dont have any drag on calipers or the rear drum brakes. Also check the brake master cylinder to see if its hanging up the brakes.

Middle piece isnt plastic from the factory. Its originally glass like the rest. The latch on a 3 piece back window is glued to the frame of the slider portion. I may have what your needing on hand....

More than likely the headlight switch is the problem. Remove it, remove the white plastic on the back of it, spray contact cleaner or use Qtips to clean the contact points. Or just get a new/used...
