International 684
2 months ago I quit working for the Navistar dealer i had been with for 9 years. The shens had increased and the future was bleak for the company as the principle has aged. I jumped ship into a John Deere dealer as an outside rep. Well it didn't take long for me to buy a tractor. This is the second tractor I have owned, the firsr being a 1948 Ford 8n. This recent purchase is a mid 80s International 684 with a 3.9l diesel. It has a Case 2200 loader, pto, power steering and 3 point hitch. It was delivered yesterday so I haven't even begun to use it. I figure, yardwork and snow plow.

I have decided to hate you a little more today. Another sweet toy to own.

I like it! I bought a 1948 Ford 8n a few weeks ago. I need to get it running, just haven’t had the time.

Lower it...you guys are too much. I did lower it with a 2 buckets full of stone today for the first test.
9n, 2n and 8n tractors built this country. I love them. Mine had a setup motor that I never got to before an old man waved money in my face for it. This 684 is simple and fun so far. Just added a triangle to the back so I can be legal running up and down the street. |

I wanted to do something wild like that to my 8n. Never got to it.
