so... i if knew where a set of tokico blues for a 240sx were, could i use these and make them fit a hardbody?

no you do not use any 240sx suspension with this. more like custom coil overs from qa1 or aldan eagle or something like that

so this for sure fits a d21? got better pics of the upper bracket or build process?

I need pics of a d21 install x2 and how much are the uca's

beebani
12-03-2012, 03:25 PM
Well, I don't have pics on a d21, but it will be the same as the 720. The uppers weld to the shock towers, and the lowers bolt on top of the lower ball joint.

Uca's are $375 shipped

QA1 ALN-3855P aluma pro shocks, with 12" springs rated at 450#

MattyBoyMR
02-12-2013, 03:13 PM
Quick q. the 3855P are for 7" springs...so is it the 5855P or did you say the wrong spring length

beebani
02-12-2013, 03:16 PM
3855 will work with a few different springs including 10" which I used on the kc I worked on

nis720
02-27-2013, 09:59 PM
I think I'm getting close to needing these. Do you stock these (ready to go) or is it made as you order?

What is the shock length recomended for them?

beebani
02-27-2013, 10:19 PM
Made to order. Takes about a week or less to get them out the door.

Spring length depends on how much drop you want. 7"-12" is what I've dealt with

What shock and coils are shown in the pics? Do you keep the torsion bars in or can you take them out? How does it handle compared to static drop stock suspension?

beebani
11-27-2013, 05:45 AM
Stock arms will not clear coilovers. I have a couple different options for ucas that will

The torsion bars are easy to remove. Loosen the adjuster until the bolt comes out, unbolt the bar from the lca's, slide bars and adjusters out.

11-27-2013, 05:47 AM
Qa1 aln3855p are the coilovers in the pic with 12" 350lb coils

How does it handle compared to stock or static dropped suspension?

Way better. Much more control and responsiveness. You can also get different adjustability options on the shocks.

After looking at the pics and looking at my truck what about sway bar? Do you loose it altogether or relocate?

beebani
12-26-2013, 03:07 PM
May have to relocate. Most of the trucks I've installed these on didn't have one, but it will definitely be a tight fit in the stock location.

Hey,
Just confirming the coilover mounts will fit a Datsun 720 ute and are for all 4 wheels? Also if price includes only mounts, which brand coilovers did you use in photographs? Are they very difficult to install?
Where abouts are you located and do you ship to Australia? What would be the total price to be delivered to Australia?

Thanks.

$250 is just for the front. The rear is a little more involved. I ship to Australia all the time. Add $80 for shipping. They are pretty easy to install. The lower bolts on, the upper slides over the stock shock tower and welds on.

And do you know how they will go in a drift comp ?

They work very well for drifting as far as I know. Yes, you could use the same ones in the rear.

Do you have blueprints you would sell? I have access to a CNC plasma and am also a welder so id like to build my own. Also what would everyone recommend on coilover lengths for a drift truck? Also I curious about your rear end set up is is four linked with some kind of stiffening linkage or what?

I would rather not sell my prints. When I build the parts, I can control the quality.

How much for the mounts and control arms as a package? Just verifying I would need both in addition to purchasing the coils to do the complete swap?
