Working on a new design for hardbody/fronty upper control arms, they will be fully adjustable for caster and camber and should clear bags easily.

Lemme know what you think.

how much would something like that cost? im not too familiar with control arms on nissans but it looks like it would work to me. could you make them to fit the yota ball joints?

theyre similar to race car type arms... good idea adopting them to nissans...
whats your plans on the crossshaft, due to the angle of the hiem joints?

actually the heims in the drawing aren't the ones I'm gonna use, the ones I plan on are high misalignment style. Capable of 36 degree angles, so I'll do a machined cross shaft with threads in the ends.

I got the idea for these watching the mazda/ranger build on trucks, the mustang upper arms they used were like this.

I could adapt them to yota joints easily.

the mounting from the ball joint plate to the clevis would have to be solid wouldnt it?

no, the design I saw has the clevis bolted to the ball joint plate, I just don't have the bolts drawn in yet.

So, these are installed on the truck, worked like a champ, went from stock to looking like a Regal with 10" cylinders on it with no problems. We'll see how it goes when he gets some miles on em. I don't see any issues with em at all.

What year of Frontier? These usually run $375 shipped in the states, add another $60-75 for freight to you.

How do you think these would stand up on a 4wd. They look awesome and I had though about maiking my own. I wouldnt bother now that you do them. My concern is where the top plate is and with the c-clamp style single bolt.
Please dont take this as some one trying to cause an argument. I think you have done a great job.

They are out working on an auto cross truck, so I don't see why not.

beebani, i saw your new design i dunno if those 4 bolts will hold the camber adjustment. these ones are working OK for me but i had to make some important changes. one of the clevis pins have to be solid or they dont hold adjustment, and the angle on the heim joints is a bit much, and the big bolts going into the cross shaft loosen themselves, i had to tack weld them. also when i heard from alec robbins that he had the same issue with the cross shaft bolt holes still not being spaced and sized correctly i was disappointed that you didn't rectify this a long time ago.

That other design is old. Never made any more. I did fix the hole issue after yours, my machinist didn't bother to follow the new print and made them undersized. I would've loved to have the feedback from you about these issues a long time ago. I can't fix my mistakes if I don't know about them. I'm going to fix the Clevis issue on the next set, and I'll loctite the bolts into the cross shafts.
