starter relay location.... - Infamous Nissan

where is the starter relay located at, its not under the hood so it must be under the dash at the fuse box but which one is it.....its on a 95 hardbody 2.4

You talking about the relay thats on the starter or the interlock relay that works with the clutch switch?

the thing is that i can bump the key repeatitvely and there is nuthin not even a click and then it will finaly spin over...i pulled the starter to go swap it cuz it is under warranty and it was fine

there is power comin out the igntion switch so i figured it might be a relay, so i bought a new one but dont know where it goes nor if that is for sure the problem...

your problem is most likely the relay on the passenger side inner fender.

nope its not there in the box with the rest of them.....least thats what the cover says...

yeah it should be mounted on the side of the inner fender. it's should be blue with 2 plugs into the bottom.

Albert,
It should be a blue double plugged relay closest to the battery on the fender well under the hood rest lip.

ok either im blind or my truck was built in the special short bus division, cuz the only relays there are the 5 in the box.....which are...fuel pump,egi,a/c,clutch inhibitor, and horn....
