Default Part identification

Anyone know what this part is called?
It is a three way fitting that used to have a screw on the top. I have a slow leak coming out of it that i would like to resolve.

Cant seem to find it in any parts catalogs.

it's the air release for the cooling system, It appears you have the V6 so the part number is: 21516-09G00 it is just called "connector- radiator hose" , you can get just the plastic screw that broke if that is all you need, the screw part number is: 2141760S00, and the rubber gasket for the screw part number is: 2148118000

Years ago when I had my former 87 I broke the plastic screw on mine

Double check the part numbers if you go to a dealer to order the part, they are going to only be available from the dealer or junkyard.

I don't think I've ever seen that on my V6.

It looks like a tap someone added to plug in an inline aftermarket thermostat.

The early VG30's had it.

I need to get me one of those!

That looks like a really easy way to tap an aftermarket inline-thermostat for controlling an electric fan.

temp sender you mean? If you install the fitting with the opening on the bottom it would probably work. Not sure what size the thread is.

Almost what I used from Autometer to install my water temp gauge, similar to this one:

one I have:

Yeap.

That's what I was thinking.

Something already made by Nissan that works.

Autometer stuff is always a good option. I have an insert by them to get my water temp probe installed.

That little port with plastic screw is the little leaky thing from hell.
