Default Project: Sweetness

I finally got enough done on my truck to finally start a build thread. I started with getting this 95 nissan hardbody a few years back and started slowly getting parts for it for the past year or so. it was suppose to be just a simple clean bag job but that didnt last very long. this is the fist day i got it and only had 75k miles and a complete virgin.[IMG][/IMG]

started getting parts in

then worked on tearing the front apart
[IMG][/IMG]

then started with the bag brackets and in the process i found a really good deal on cando arms and drop spindles and a five lug swap
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
Then i went to the junkyard an picked up a toyota five lug rear end off an 89 reg cab [IMG][/IMG]
then i felt the front was decent enough for now till i bodydrop it and finish a few things, so i moved on the rear. since switching to a five lug axle i decided to just go ahead an do a backhalf. so i started with a bunch of measuring and such made a cross member[IMG][/IMG]
then added the four link [IMG][/IMG]
cut off some of the old frame off[IMG][/IMG]
narrowed my frame to run a wide wheel in the rear, then started my notch

Trust me its easier to do it right the first time. As a bonus it comes with less frustration and is cheaper overall in the long run, nice update.
