The fitment to good... just need to trim the lower portion around the coupler... I'm still working on some ideas for the stock front bumper.

Did you get the intercooler and piping from e-bay? I herd the kits on e-bay are pretty good quality i'm looking for them to do a custom install on my xr2 capri.

Also, check out the newer megasquirt its supposed to be very good for any forced induction setups.

Can't wait to see more!
It's CX Racing... the company is local and I went directly to their facility and got most of the piping too. Their stuff is better than some of the ebay stuff.. even though they sell on ebay too.

I have been reserching the ECCS.HYBRIDKA site and looking into Rom tuning. I breifly looked into the Megasquirt but it's too much information, and it seems I have to do alot of rewiring. I think the Rom tuning is more of what I'm looking for. Here are my Guinie pigs.

I have been looking into this since last month and I'm trying to get a hold of the guy making them (local) to see if it will fit my SOHC block.

The motor I purchased used and never really opened it up to chech it. So I've had to deal with some issues in the past with work done to it.

Today I tackled the anoying lifter tap... 4 of them to be exact.. luckily my neighbor gave some he had in his garage.

I removed the Oil Filter block for testing of the one I'm trying to purchase.

The major obstacle I ran into was the oil pan. I was going to remove it so I can have the oil return line for the turbo welded on. But I could not get it off without either damaging the pan itself (that is already beatup) or the block. Apparently the person that installed it did not want to purchase a gasket and put alot of silicone to seal it. So I most likely will be purchasing a new oil pan as well.

dude...

your whole engine bay is street-rod quality. if i knew a better compliment, i'd use it. i just... every time i look at these pictures, even your signature, i feel sick to my stomach knowing what my dirty-ass motor looks like. the only issue i have is the different colors between the powdercoating and the silicone, but, that's because deep down, i am part hater. it's from my dad's side, and we haven't talked in 10 years, but still.

My Skull and Bone Oil filter relocation block.... the mounting is the same as the DE block. They tested my SOHC oil block on a DE block and it matches. So if you guys are looking for a oil filter relocator for your KA's... this is the ticket.

I will have pics of it mounted this weekend.

Alright I couldn't wait and test fitted a few minutes ago.

Now I have to order the filter adaptor, AN hose and fittings and figure out where to put the filter.

seems like mounting it like the pics would be one hell of a mess come oil change time. Is this going to be used to feed turbo or you still putting a bung in the pan?
