Default rb26?

I was just wondering if anyone done a rb25 or rb26 swap in a hardbody? I seen it done with the 720pickup, but I think it would be sick in a hardbody. Just wanted to hear input on doing something like this..

its been done. its not a simple swap there is a lot of work to get it to fit including some major firewall work.

ka would be more practical actually, already in the truck and same power potential. very stout bottom end and a huge aftermarket for them aswell. and half the cost.

Yea, I was thinking about a sr, just thinking an rb would be something different in these trucks..haha, right now I got the vg30v6 and its an ok motor, but for some reason my top end power has a mad drop off at 3k or more rpm. I plan on making this a drift truck, and wanted something with good power and torque all around. If I swapped a ka motor into my truck, which should I go for, I know there is a few different type, and is it hard to turbo these?

I'd get a KA24DE out of a 240sx and build it up. spend some time reading on KA-T lots of great KA turbo info on there

Sweet thanks, what about a titan v8? I know I am going off on a limb, but I mean I seen chevy 350 motors, and ford motor swaps. Has anyone attempted one of these titan swap..

I'm almost positive I read somewhere about someone trying a vg30dett swap in a hardbody and it not fitting.
