Default Denso 1433058

Anyone running the Denso 1433058 Air Filter? I thought it was a unwise option but wondering about air temps and performance? Thanks

That filter is not the main air filter it is for the AIV box.

Your air filter looks like this:

Until I pulled my engine out, with the truck some 20 years old, I didn't even know about that AIV filter. Boy, was mine awful ...

Great. Just bought the truck two days ago. Going through it, conducting checks. Found the broken exhaust hanger I posted in another thread. And the wing nuts were missing from the air filter cover. Is that a common issue? Anyway I want to get a new air filter and thought that denso model might have been a replacement for the plastic intake. Thanks for clearing that up. Now where is the AIV?

Should be on the drivers side inner fender, round metal box looks like a metal tire.

This was my former 93, you can see the housing directly below the master cylinder:

Nice truck you have I like that color, you have the typical rear of the cab sits lower than the bed, look at the body line between the cab and the bed. A few large flat washers between the cab floor and the body mount will make it sit level again.

Nissan had a problem with the rear mounts in the king cabs.

Easy to fix as the far rear cab mount bolts go in from the bottom and the nuts are welded to the body so they don't move, just remove the bolt and large washer on the bottom, place a floor jack with piece of wood under the floor, jack it up so the cab floor is off the mount, insert large washer (s), lower the cab, put the bolt back in and tighten, done.
