The circumference of the 2WD Frontier driveshaft is bigger then the D21 4x4.

Is the Frontier 4x4 CC driveshaft a direct replacement for my D21?

Im not going to use this. The rear u joint is a different size, The slip yoke from the d21 would have to be cut to make it fit and the tube is bigger. Back to the junkyard it going for a credit

Rear u-joint difference won't matter if the flange bolts to the diff.
Larger tube is needed for the longer span. That's a GOOD thing.
I don't follow what you are saying about having to cut the slip yoke. If there is a difference in yokes, can you swap yours onto it?
The only thing you might need done is to take it to a shop to have the tube shortened.

The way this might work would be to install the original slip yoke and rear flange because the ones from the donor shaft are different.
Once that is done the shaft would be longer than the original due to the fact that the shaft is one inch longer and length of original slip yoke is longer.

I took it to a driveline shop this morning and he did not reccomend a one piece shaft.
He said that the shaft was off one tooth off. I did make my marks on the shaft prior to uninstalling it.
My guess is that it was already a tooth off from the last replacement of the bearing. Which would explain why it failed it the same place.
Im going to have him install it. Just waiting on his quote.

Just picked up the driveline with the carrier bearing installed
The white alignment mark was the one I marked before removal. The yellow mark is the properly aligned drive shaft.
I took it for a spin all seems well for now. The squeaking noise on the downshift is gone.

Here's how the painted seats are holding up. Notice the blue coming through the seats. Im not going to blame the paint yet. I didn't vacuum nor did I wet clean the upholstery before cleaning.
After I install the new carpet im going to properly clean the seats before painting them again to see how they hold up. I'll pay particulat attention to the areas that get rubbed on while entering and exiting the truck

I called Maco here in my town for a quote. Their starting price for a paint job without bodywork is $3900.00. Now I know it's a franchise and the charge what ever they would like but that's a lot more than what other Matcos charge. She said they don't use the cheaper paint
