Post Cheap 4x4 project?

Hey everyone!! Iím knew here and Iím looking into building my 95í pickup into a pretty sweet off-road rig. Iím a young college kid so Iím definitely on a budget but any kind of info would greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Your budget will depend on what you want to do with it. If you just want a capable rig for doing typical trails through the woods and that sort of thing, you won't have to put much into it. if you're wanting to rock crawl or trophy truck the thing it's going to be a lot of work. Default What could I put on a 4 cylinder?

Thank y’all for the input, I got some ideas brewing now. I still want to keep my pickup pretty road-friendly. After all I do plan on it being my daily for a long time. I’m still learning about the truck itself, I’ve only had it for a few months. Can y’all give me some suggestions for lift sizes and tires?
