Default Addco Rear Sway Bar fitment

Hey, so I ordered an Addco rear sway bar for my '91 D21 V6 4WD. After the installation, my sway bar hugs the rear differential. Like a lot. I noticed zero chafing marks after driving around rough areas, but I'm wondering if it's supposed to sit like that? It should be stock ride height.

Does it go over the top of the pumpkin? My hellwig goes like you have yours but I have lots of space.

Did you lay both out and compare size?

I wonder if Foul_Mouth doesn't have a point. Should it be flipped?

what’s the whole rear bar look like not installed? i’m assuming it came with instructions and says it’s supposed to mount the way you have it?
