Default Fuel assembly and tank temp sensor

ok guys so my gas gauge has quit. I'm pretty sure its a cracked float on the sending unit. Also I am getting P0180 check engine which is the tank fuel temp sensor. My question is... If I buy a whole new fuel pump assembly, is the temp sensor on the assembly with the pump and sending unit or is that something else? The diagrams online seem to show it as being a separate thing mounted alone inside the tank. Its a 96 king cab ka24e. TIA

I've seen these sold in all kinds of ways. Sometimes just the pump, sometimes they call them assemblies. Usually, the sellers are only the importers of the parts, and they won't know if the assemblies have sensors on them or not.
