could not find answer after some browsing the site but,
What is the max tire height size you can run on 18" titan wheels from 2007 titan so there is no modification (i.e. rolling or going to pathy fenders in front)? I have seen that 245/45/18 looks nice, but, can you run 245/50/18 or even a 60 series tire without rubbing etc. w/o any fender mods? Great site and i app the feedback - newbie. I have a 97 HB xcab wth all the options. purchased with 60k in 2002 and it has been driven sparingly and garaged as a spare vehicle. it now has 119K and just did timing chain etc. |

if you have any kind of drop you cant go taller than a 45 and even then depending on overall tire size it may rub

The overall diameter of the 225/50 is 26.9" tall
And the 225/60 is 28.6" tall What size are the tires on the truck now? Im thinking a 60 series tire would be pushing it... Here's a calculator that you can mess around with to find the right tire size now and in the future. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

thanks for all the great advice and a great forum.
i got the titans bored out and installed today. cheap price off cl and then $100 to get bored out. went with 225/55/18 for smoother ride - it is nice!! no rubbing as it is stock and not lowered - it is my weekend warrior to make runs to Home Depot etc. ![]() ![]() next onto suspension upgrade. thanks again Last edited by naipaulss2; 10-04-2013 at 02:53 AM. |

The bore needs to be 4" exactly and you dont bore all the way through as far as I know, just deep enough to clear the tabs on the hubs
