Anyone know if the door lock cylinders are the same from side to side? I know the arm on the back is different. Driver's is broke beyond repair and don't wanna use two keys. Thanks.

They are. I swapped mine over no problem. I might have taken the screw off in the back and flipped the arm 180 degrees, I can't remember. You'll probably want to hit the metal retaining plate with some PB blaster first.

Should be a C clip that holds the arm on on the back. I can rekey a new (used) one to match your existing key if you get another lock.

Thanks guys. Didn't want to tear the passenger one apart to find it wont work. I have power locks so the passenger door key unlocking isn't an issue.
ahardb0dy can you do the pathy locks also? The cylinder cases are different and I want the auto unlock that clips on to the outside.

Just got it finished. The whole back part of the cylinder broke off. Arm and all. Swapped them over and all is well.

I can do any of the Nissan locks that use the same wafers as the Hardbody.

Yup...the casing on mine was cracked in half from where somebody had busted the lock open with a screwdriver. It also needed a radio lol. The guy I bought it from hadn't locked it in 15 years!

I'm going to keep that in mind. Hopefully, I won't need your skills, but you never know.

When I bought the 94 Pathfinder I used to have from my friend, it had only the ignition key and it wasn't the same as the rest of the locks, think it was broken into or something and the ignition lock was replaced.

I pulled a door lock out and had a locksmith make a key for it but I got tired of having 2 different keys. Someone on NPORA suggested rekeying the locks to match my former Sentra so I would have 1 key for both vehicles. I liked that idea and decided to do it.

I rekeyed all the locks on the Sentra and all the locks on the Pathfinder to match the Pathfinder's ignition key.

Can't tell you how many times my wife asked which key was for which vehicle after telling her multiple times they both use the same key ! LOL
