Default Bastard U joint

So ill be picking up a Toyota rear this weekend to continue the 5 lug swap thing... Question is instead of paying 200+ on a custom driveshaft is anyone aware of a bastard u joint to go from the Toyota yoke flange to the stock driveshaft?

I installed an axle from a newer (98ish) mustang in a 1962 Galaxie for a friend at work. He measured everything with a caliper and we looked up the measurements on different manufacturers website until we found the right one. Made the 62 driveshaft bolt right up to the mustang axle. So once you have all the parts just measure everything and see if you can find a u joint that matches those specs.

if you take that into ANY respectable parts house, it will take the old guy in the back, 8mins to look in a book and match what you need. and if its a legit parts house, it will be in stock.

I will have to post up a number so we have it for future reference !!

At the least, they can have it in 24 hours.
Alabama_lowlife - bet that was a conversion joint. Sold many of those in the past.

This used to be the place for almost any conversion u-joint.

Unfortunately it seems like the website is not working, but you can try calling.

Should be as simple as telling them what from what.

well i just got the rear end last night and he game me a drive shaft to go with it.. Unfortunetly me thinking the guy knew what he had, which he didnt gave me a V6 drive shaft for the 4cyl rear end.. so i dont have a flange that works.. Once i source one of them i will see what i can figure out.. Also i scored a 4:10 rear so im pretty happy about that lol

@Heywier427 ill see what i can do thank you for that

alright so correct me if im wrong here , According to good ol rock auto the nissan joint is a 369 and the toyota would be a 387....

369 has a cap diam of 1.063 and a spread of 3.22

387 has a cap diam of 1.142 and a spread of 2.047

joint i found is 497 has a cap diam of 1.063 and spread at 3.22 and other cap is 1.125 spread at 2.125

I feel like this can be made to work ... any one oppose please say something lol

That's pretty damn close. How does the length work out with the shaft and the axle?
