and if you want to buy the vac pump and manifold gauges, harbor freight is a good place to go for those. i got my manifold gauges set and the pump from there for 129 bucks. the key is to buy them at different times, so you can use the 20 percent off coupon twice.

or you can "rent" them from autozone. here at my local AZ, they require a 300 dollar refundable deposit.'

Ok guys update on my ac project. All I like is pulling a vacuum and charging it up. One problem though. When I push the ac button it doesn't light up. May not be a big deal but not sure. Wasn't that bad of a job after all though and the best thing is it looks factory. Thanks for all of your help guys. Happy Good Friday.

It won't light up if the blower fan is not on.

My 86.5 has that "push the button but it doesn't light up" problem. I ended up wiring a switch directly to the AC compressor clutch. Caddy recently sent me a video suggesting that the little sensor wire deal on top of the condensor may be the cause of my problems, but I've been too lazy to take my blower and crap out to check into it. You could have the same thing, or it could be any number of relays/sensors/etc. along the way. Grab a multimeter and prepare for some fun...
