Yep. I was going to PML myself, but all my suspension stuff was absolutely shot (1986.5 truck with 257k miles on it) so the torsion bars wouldn't raise, all my bushings were bad, the shocks were dead, etc. Since I was going to have to replace all that crap anyway just getting someone to drop the Calmini in made sense. Plus I got them to do a 2" body lift so I could fit 33s.

31's came stock so no lift is needed. Unless you get crazy with the wheel width

Don't have a ton of experience with different types of tire but my unsolicited advice is to go with Mickey Thompson MTZ's I had them on my '10 Frontier and LOVED them! hit some pretty nasty mud from time to time and they always got me out. They were as loud as you would expect an MT to be on the road but i never minded. Road manners were great and they wore nicely too.

I always ran BF Goodrich mud terrains, of course they changed the tread pattern twice since I owned them so no idea how they are now.

Alright guys check this out. My 93 has the RC 2" lift on it and add-a-leaf that leveled it out because the old stock springs were fatigued. I like it and it can fit 32x10.5's. I want 33's, I bought 1.5" blocks for the back, and I plan of buying the 1" ball joint spacers and diff. drop bushings. Already have the blocks, in a month or so get the rest. It's all from 4x4parts.com. If I had a 3" calmini or 3" super lift I wouldn't dick around trying to get more out of it Just of half shaft angles n stuff. But the 2" I couldnt see being a problem, but I'm no mechanic so what do ya think??

Just don't crank the front so the upper arms are sitting on the bumpstops. Try to leave about a half inch of space between the 2.
I don't know why different a-arm companies label their lifts as being 2 or 3", the y should all be the same. I haven't seen a comparison between the different control arms where one has the arms welded at a different angle than another. (Rough Country, Calmini, 4x4parts, Superlift)

Alright coo thanks, idk if it's adjustable depending on how the bars are indexed or 1.5" front-2" back but the RC says 1.5"-2". I've seen guys with the calmini "3" get 33's, or the year might have an effect on stock height. All I know is it's hard to find after market stuff for our trucks

Really you can do the 3" lift on stock arms, it wont last very long but it's all the same thing. Better off staying with a mild 2" boost and using body lift to get the rest of the lift you need for the tires you want, otherwise you'll blow front end parts
