The aftermarket arms are designed to let the truck be aligned, if you crank the bars up on stock arms to get 3" lift you will never get it aligned.

I have the RC lift on it with their tubular Arms. Damn what a pain in the ass, had no idea lifting would be this hard. I've always driven fords and chevy's. Assumed it would be like lifting anything else. RC had body lifts for our trucks and so does 4x4parts. The RC lift is $300'ish after shipping and the 4x4parts one is $230. Should I dish out an extra $70 or you guys think it's just because it'll have RC stickers and come in an RC box?? lol I like RC it's the suspension lifts I've always bought and installed but NO CLUE on body lifts.

I don't see a body lift for any Nissan on the Rough Country site, where did you see it? I know Performance Accessories makes a kit.

http://performanceaccessories.com/in...roller=product

4x4parts kit:

http://www.4x4parts.com/i-18916665-h...body-lift.html

They look like the same kit to me other than the color, if you notice the 4x4 parts kit is the same part number (last 4 digits)

I would go with the cheaper one.

Alright cool I was hoping someone would suggest that. Already bought those 1.5" blocks that I can't use now lol

http://www.roughcountry.com/nissan-b...FQWTfgodQpsNgw

Scroll down and click on fitment table, a drop down screen will apprear. Gotta dig a little as usual for after market anything for our trucks lol. It must be the same one, there's a performance accessories label on the bottom corner of the product picture.

Other question I've been told and have seen the idler arm is a big week spot on our trucks, 4x4parts has the brace I'm thinking on getting. So do I need 2, one for each side ?? After I put on 32's it pops once during tight tuning

no, only one idler arm on the pass. side, the other side is the steering box.

Some people have even eliminated the idler arm and used a second steering box in it's place, the idea is the extra bearings inside support better than the stock idler arm. There are certain one's that are used and there is a write up on the NPORA forum I believe, but for 32's and light wheeling you should be fine with the brace.

Clunking noise during a hard lock turn is usually the steering stops hitting the lower control arm, Nissan came out with plastic covers for the steering stops on later models, not sure what year, my former 87 did not have them.

You can put a big gob of grease in the area the steering stops hit to help, there is a stop on the front and rear of the knuckle so 2 on each side (dr & Pass,)

Sweet thanks, it's a 93. I'm gonna do a bodylift for 33's. Not really wheeling, just logging road/hunting/camping n shit like that. I'm gonna get the brace now, and steering stabilizer when I get 33's is my new new Plan lol

Rough Country makes a lift as well. It what I have on mine. Does anyone know if you have to pull carpet up to get to the body mounts for a body lift?
