Default Gas pedal lower after engine swap

I love my D21, am not a mechanic & could use your suggestions/input:

We just did an engine swap/clutch job on my '91 4x4 and now the gas pedal feels much lower to the floor. I don't like the positioning. Is it simple to readjust? What are the reasons it could be so close to the floor now?

Thanks

The cable to the throttle body probably has slack in it. If you look at where it attaches to the cam on the throttle body you should see the slack. Adjust to remove it.
