Default Peterbilt Diésel school

I got accepted into Peterbilt manufacture specific training school in Exton Pennsylvania. I need info on finding a place to live while I attend school there. Any infon on an affordable place near highway 76 or university city would be greatly appreciated

Congratulations on being accepted to that program.
The thing about Exton is, it is commutable distance to Philly or Delaware, so reasonable priced rentals probably are going to be few and far between.
I live in the Lehigh Valley so I am reaonably familiar with that general area.
If I were you, and was okay with a ~30 minute commute, I would look for a rental around the Pottstown area. It is close enough to everything you could want to see/do but far enough that the pricing for an average rental can be found in the 1k/mo range(1/2 to 1/3 of rentals in Exton area). There are other areas south of Reading that are similar distance but the closer you get to the cities, the more the expenses rise...
Good luck with your search, and school.

I moved to PA from Savannah GA about 20 years ago, and I too was STUNNED by the difference in housing prices. I used to live in a small 1bd 1 bath cabin on the water, with a two car garage on 2 acres, back then was 375, this was the place I was moving out of to move up here. The cheapest apartment I found in the area I needed to move to was 800..... back then it was a huge adjustment for me. Around here "starter" type houses are 145-185k, and that is with no land to speak of, most with no garage or even driveway, and we are about an hour away from Philadelphia... The cost to live in a decent area in Philly is easily triple or quadruple what it is here.

That is why I pointed Hardbody 92 toward a more rural area, because finding a rental in University City looks something like this https://www.zillow.com/university-ci...pa/apartments/
Where a 1bd 1bth@ 450sqft is right a 1k/month... and I'm near certain that the ones you can find in that area for that price range are in areas where there is very little good things happening.

Yup. That’s what I’m paying now but I cannot go on with this hefty burden in another state and while studying full time.
